Fifteen have been privileged with working with Nottingham Hospitals Charity on their new website, and we are pleased to announce that the website is now live!
About Nottingham Hospitals Charity
Nottingham Hospitals Charity is at the heart of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, it supports the best health care for all patients treated at the City Hospital, Queens Medical Centre, Children’s Hospital and Ropewalk House.
All the money raised by the charity through donations and fundraising is pumped back on to the NHS trust, working towards life-saving equipment, staff development, medical research and improved resources for our local hospitals.
The Task
When looking at the previous charity website, it was clear that it needed some TLC, and work towards modernising the site to align it with the charities forward thinking in fundraising and how to increase donations through the website.
Working with the team at Nottingham Hospitals Charity, we were set the task of copywriting, designing and developing the new website to improve donations and charity engagement across Nottingham.
The Website
The charities brand has been developed over the past few months, and we have incorporated this into the site, utilising the colour scheme which is warm and inviting. The image bank that the charity has access to really showcase the impact that the charity makes to the hospitals it supports.
The website design is sleek and modern and allows the user to navigate to the important areas of the website with ease, offering interactive elements and links to donate and find out more about events and how to get involved with the charity.
Fifteen also provided copywriting services for Nottingham Hospitals Charity, working with the marketing team to get the basic content, as well as taking inspiration off their existing website we were able to write the content in an emotive SEO-friendly way that should draw users into the website and feel the heart of the charity, encouraging them to get involved with the causes that they are supporting.
The website is built using WordPress CMS which is a follow on from their previous site, meaning that the team at NHC already understands how the use the website.
The websites shop is now fully integrated into the website and uses WooCommerce, so the charity can update and expand their product range as they need to without the need to go through an external third party system.
Their donation process integrates with their CRM system and allows the charity to capture all important data from their donations in order to better improve their efforts moving forward.
We really enjoyed working on this project with Nottingham Hospitals Charity and are looking forward to continuing to work with them in the future and fundraising with them!
What They Said
“Nottingham Hospitals Charity had a high set of demands for our new website. Not only did it have to enhance the experience for our current supporters, but offer a dynamic first experience for new visitors, as well as engage our thousands of NHS Trust staff across Nottingham.
Working with Sophie and the team at Fifteen we have achieved a clear, engaging, dynamic online shop front for our Charity. The website’s design and structure is now successfully showcasing our appeals, highlighting our many fundraising events and putting the voice of our patients and staff front and centre. Together these have created a website with a compelling call to action which is to support our work, raising vital funds to enhance services for patients at Nottingham’s hospitals.”– Susan Littlemore, Nottingham Hospitals Charity Marketing Manager
