Our ecommerce partner, Shopware, is holding its annual Shopware Community Day virtually this year.
The not to be missed event usually takes place at Shopware’s headquarters in Duisburg, Germany but this year’s event is being held virtually owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The focus is very much around achieving ecommerce growth in this uncertain time.
Shopware Community Day promises to tackle the current challenges and celebrate solutions to the tests online retailers are currently facing.
The pandemic has vastly changed the way we shop and has forced acceleration online beyond what was already rapidly growing. Supermarket giants and e-tailers have had to suspend online ordering and limit delivery slots to cope with demand, independent boutiques and shops have needed to develop and change from traditional bricks and mortar to online operations.
The winners have been those who have been enabled for ecommerce and taken the advantage over competitors. The pandemic has highlighted evermore the benefits of investing in an online proposition and buying mechanism.
Shopware Community Day coincides with Shopware’s 10th Anniversary and will celebrate the best Global ecommerce has to offer. There will be a wide range of talks from Shopware as well as partners such as PayPal, Google and Mollie.
Content will be split between merchants on Thursday 18th June and developers on Friday 19th June (for the techy bit!). For retailers currently trading online and those looking to take the step into ecommerce, the two-day event will help with planning and strategy to take trading forwards.
As the fastest growing ecommerce platform worldwide, Shopware’s Community Day promises to deliver on innovative strategic knowledge as well as practical information such as multi-channel integration with Amazon and Ebay.
There will be advice on digital marketing, online payments and stock management so that all bases are covered!
With ecommerce platform Magento 1 coming to end of life this month there is also a presentation on taking Magento to Shopware with ease.
