I don’t know if anyone wants to hear this, but the months are now into double figures. 10 months in and 2016 has flown by! October and Autumn have pounced upon us hand in hand and the nights are drawing in more and more, earlier and earlier every evening. However, here at Fifteen, no matter how dark it gets outside, we are still setting the world alight with our Fitbit Challenge, where we aim to walk around the world in fifteen months.
In September, we travelled the globe, landing in places such as Dubai, Cape Verde and Rhode Island. With 839,149 steps, the Developers absolutely stormed it last month. They finished around 300,000 steps ahead of both the Designers and the Digital Marketing team, so a huge well done to them!
Shown below are the challenges for the teams throughout September:
As you can see, the Designers smashed it in the first fortnight of the month, yet fell off drastically in the back end of September. The Marketing team were performing at a constant high level, but still fell short every week. The accounts team, consisting of Ollie, Kate and Chanelle, finished in 4th position every month with a poor showing every week. At least they were consistent, I guess!
In total for the whole of September, we achieved a massive amount of steps as a team, with the Fifteen squad hitting a whopping 2,247,399 steps. Yes, 2 and a quarter million steps. That’s the same as walking from the Fifteen HQ to the beautiful city of Lisbon.
